Fun fact: I originally went to college intending to become an accountant. How’s that for a polar opposite of a designer? Needless to say, that didn’t work out, so I dropped out of college to pursue a series of meaningless jobs and find entrepreneurship in the form of a photography business, only to return to school a decade later to formalize the self-taught design education I had gained in the meantime.
In the decade I was out of school, I found a hobby in photography that blossomed into a successful business. In the process of building that business, I developed a love for entrepreneurship and skills in business management and graphic design. I realized I actually loved visual design and had a talent for “fixing flaws”. I also realized that I had lost the only hobby that was once my creative outlet by making it into a business and decided it was time to move on. I lost one of my biggest freelance clients during the COVID-19 pandemic and that was the catalyst to a whole lot of soul searching and deciding what was going to be next for my professional future.
It turns out the skills I had developed over the course of the previous decade align perfectly in the field of product design and the discovery of that career path led me back to school after a decade hiatus to formalize my education. Or as one of my professors once put it, “jump through the hoops on paper.”
Through this journey of self-discovery, I have not only learned the importance of having passion projects but also the pursuit of excellence.
In creating this little corner of the internet, I knew I wanted a place to share all the things I’ve done and learned in the hopes that I can help or inspire just one person. If I succeed at that, and that person is you, I’d love you to reach out.

I developed a love for Notion when I returned to school and found it invaluable in my education. I create and sell templates and other education on using Notion.

I started a YouTube channel while I was in school and love sharing all things Design and Productivity. Now that I’m working full-time as a Project Manager, I share things I learn from the world of project management, too.

My husband, Chris, and I recently built our second home together and started doing some DIY projects for fun. And even more recently, we bought our dream acre of property and are starting the process of building a custom home.
