Fourth Draft of Preliminary Floor Plans

We took a break over the holidays with working on floor plans because we knew there were some changes and some considerations we needed to make. One of the considerations was whether we felt like the powder room was too far and like a maze to get to from the main living area. So we asked our designer to rough draw a couple of different options for rearranging that area that would put the powder room closer to the entrance to the kitchen/main living area.

(Spoiler alert: we, including our designer, did not like any of the other options for rearranging the area with the laundry room and powder room.)

We also had some other small changes including:

• Move the man door from the garage to the other wall with the 3 separate garage doors

• We are toying with the idea of closing off the dining room from the entryway to make a more confined entryway.

(Another spoiler alert: we don’t like how closed off it made things feel, so we will be leaving that wall open.)
