Stovetop Noodle Board

Okay. Hear me out! I love cooking on a gas range but I hate cleaning and looking at grates on a gas range. So I made a cover - which is actually called a noodle board and I have no clue why! I don’t have a clue why it’s called that, but it sounds like something I should ask the Google.

Either way! I’m thrilled this was all made from things I already had - except two pieces of 1x3 that I bought for the frame. I was looking for a way to bring some shiplap into the kitchen and honestly, I’ve never seen a noodle board made this way. I’m really loving that shiplap is making its way into every room of my home, little by little!
