HOMEWORK

This is the last week of this course, and this homework is definitely something that takes some time to compare. But what I want you to do is really plan out your Perfect World Projections, and then stay diligent to tracking and doing your budget for the next 4 months (at least!). Why 4 months? Because it literally takes the first 3 months to really create the systems and learn the habits of budgeting - especially if you are new to it. Please be easy on yourself during this time. It’s really easy to get frustrated and overwhelmed when things come up and knock your budget off the tracks a little. Just know that you are adjusting and you won’t be perfect at it. You’ll have things come up. And that’s okay. That’s why I taught you to roll with the punches. Each month, I want you to plan your Perfect World Projections at the beginning of the month, then follow the budget plan for the deposits of your money, then at the end of the month, I want you to compare what you actually spent in each areas of the budget plan to the Perfect World Projections and see what areas need to be adjusted. Then after doing it for 3 months, take some time to look at those 3 months as a whole and see how close you are.
